Barshan Ltd. (hereinafter: the Company, the Website) operates and promotes accessibility in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, and places great importance on making its services accessible to customers with disabilities, who are entitled to full and enhanced accessibility for a convenient and clear browsing experience.
Accessibility adjustments were carried out according to the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law and the recommendations of the Israeli Standard (IS 5568) at level AA.
The purpose of this accessibility statement is to provide information regarding the accessibility of the website and to offer ways to contact and report to the website’s accessibility coordinator.
The Company provides website users the option to receive information in accessible formats. Providing such information is free of charge and intended for users with disabilities. The website is made accessible using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool, which helps ensure the content is as accessible as possible for users. The system performs an in-depth review of the website’s code for accessibility compliance, compatibility with browsers adapted for persons with disabilities, contrast tests, and more. Every page on the site is repeatedly tested until receiving approval that it is free of errors, free of warnings as much as possible, and includes elements that support assistive browser use (ARIA).
As of the date of the last update, the website largely meets the accessibility criteria for Level AA.
Responsibility for the site’s accessibility implementation lies with the website owners and/or their representatives, including the presented content and subject to the software’s terms of use as applicable.
The accessibility implementation is compatible with the latest versions of Google Chrome, Edge, Safari, and other browsers. Google Chrome was found to provide the highest level of accessibility.
The site supports standard keyboard navigation using the TAB key.
The site supports assistive technologies through the use of various ARIA attributes.
The site provides features such as quick access to the main content of pages, pausing automatic rotating content with manual alternatives, and more.
The website includes an accessibility button located at the bottom-right corner of the page. Clicking it opens an accessibility menu that allows increasing/decreasing font sizes, switching to high-contrast modes, changing to an easy-to-read font, highlighting links, resetting accessibility settings, and linking to the accessibility statement page. Selected settings are saved for several days across the site.
Non-accessible content: We strive to maintain the site and its accessibility at the highest level. If you encounter inaccessible content, please notify us as soon as possible so we can address the issue quickly and effectively. Please include as much detail as possible when contacting the accessibility coordinator: description of the issue, the page and location where it occurred, browser type and version, the operating system of the computer or device used, and the assistive technology used (if applicable).
